At SuperDapp, your password is a critical security component, and we prioritize privacy and encryption at every level. For this reason, passwords cannot be reset if lost. However, if you still have access to your account and know your current password, you can change it at any time.
🔒 Why Can’t Passwords Be Reset?
- End-to-end encryption ensures that passwords are never stored in a way that can be retrieved or reset by our team.
- Decentralized security protocols mean that even we cannot access or recover your password for your protection.
- This approach ensures that only you have control over your account, preventing unauthorized access or recovery attempts.
🔄 How to Change Your Password
If you remember your current password, you can change it by:
1️⃣ Going to Settings → Password
2️⃣ Selecting Change Password
3️⃣ Entering your current password and choosing a new one
4️⃣ Confirming the change to update your login credentials
🚨 What If You Lose Your Password?
- If your password is lost, you will no longer be able to access your account.
- There is no reset option—this is to ensure maximum security and prevent unauthorized recovery attempts.
- The only way to regain access would be to create a new account and, if applicable, transfer any assets before losing access to the old one.
To prevent account lockout, we strongly recommend:
✅ Using a password manager to store your credentials securely.
✅ Keeping a secure offline backup of your password.
✅ Enabling biometric login (if supported) for additional security on your third party password keeper.
