Getting started with SuperDapp? Your first priority should be securing your account. Follow these simple steps to protect your assets and data.
Backup Your Account Recovery Phrase
-
- After creating your account, you'll receive a unique recovery phrase. Write it down and store it in a safe, offline location. Never share it or store it digitally. This phrase is your key to recovering your account if you lose access.
- If you didn't back-up your recovery phrase when you created your account. Goto the wallet, click on the wallet address, and then click on "View Recovery Phrase", and back up your recovery phrase now!
- SuperDapp does not have your recovery phrase and can not send it to you. Make sure you back it up.
Important Notice:
Your recovery phrase is crucial for wallet access in specific scenarios. If you lose this recovery phrase, you will be unable to regain access to your wallet through standard recovery methods, and risk permanently losing access to your funds and data if you forget your SuperDapp password or your wallet passcode.
Set Up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
-
-
Go to account settings and enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). Link it to a trusted authenticator app. This adds an extra layer of security, requiring a second verification step beyond your password.
-
Secure Your Password
-
-
If you haven't already, create a strong, unique password with a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols. Avoid reusing passwords from other sites. Consider using a password manager to keep it safe and accessible only to you.
-
Set Up a Wallet Passcode
-
-
In your SuperDapp wallet settings, enable and set a wallet passcode. Choose a 6 digit code that’s easy for you to remember but hard to guess. This passcode protects your wallet transactions and adds another safeguard.
-
By completing these steps, you’ll significantly boost your account’s security. Take action now—your peace of mind starts with a secure SuperDapp account!
